vegas 9.0 timeline viewing problem
I just upgraded from 8.0 and now in 9.0 when I place an AVI clip on the timeline, only three thumbs show – one at the beginning one in the middle, and one at the end. In between there is only blank space. The clip plays perfectly in the preview window. How do I get the timeline to appear the way it always has in vegas 4,5,6,7,and 8. ?

Options>Preferences>Video>Thumbnails to show in video events.
It’s not a ‘problem’ though; it’s a ‘feature’. As the video gets more compressed, it takes longer to render all those thumbnails, so sometimes it might be best to limit them.

Thanks. I tried to find the setting in preferences but it eluded me, probably because it was late at night.
