I have converted a group of AVCHD files to the Cineform AVI for easier editing on my laptop. In 8.0c, the files load and open perfectly; however on 9.0 64bit, when I add the Cineform files, only the audio is present. Also, interestingly, when I capture from a JVC GyDV110, I don’t see the video in the capture window. When I capture in 8.0c (32 bit version) there are no problems.

Any ideas why the 9.0 64 bit version is doing this?

    Thanks

Write Jake Segraves , and ask for the 64-bit beta. I had the same problem, but the Beta seems to resolve it.

Jake at Cineform, states that you must update your NeoHD codec to version 4, for use with 64-bit systems. Those of you who have already spent $500-600 for NeoHD may be less than pleased to learn that Cineform wants you to spend an additional $129 for this update.

I am sorry to hear about that. Cineform has always been very cool to me.

So I understand about the Cineform issue. Does anyone know why I can’t see my video in 9.0a when I am capturing from the Gy DV110? It works fine in 8.0c? Has anyone run into this issue?

    Thanks

If you are capturing with Cineform, it is my understanding that you will need the version 4 codec to be able to view it in Vegas9a-64. According to Cineform-Jake, NeoHD version 3 should still work in Vegas9-32bit.

I would like to continue to use NeoHD with my new 64-bit system, but I feel that I have already paid them too much money.
