  Vegas 9 crashes during HDV capture

  I have upgraded from Vegas 8 to 9, and have no problems importing Dv from my PD150. However, when I tried to import from my Z1-U, it says “device error” in the capture device screen( Vegas 8 never did that with this same camera, so I might have a setting problem). When I turn the camera off, then back on, the import device doesn’t have the error message and it will import HDV for about 5 minutes, then Vegas stops working. 5 times in a row.
  Ideas? My computer is a new, fast (4g memory)with a RAID array. Hardware is not the issue.
