Hi Adam.
Did you install the Quicktime 32?
I installed Vista 64 Ultimate on a new machine, and then installed 8.1. Vegas 8.1 wants Quicktime and gives me a download link, but then when i go to download it, it recommends not installing the 32 bit Quicktime.
Should I image my C drive, and then go ahead and install QT32? or is there some other preferable workaround? Does anyone know?
Thank you,
Norman

January 20, 2009 at 8:17 pmThanks.
I think they just released a 64-bit version, like, seconds ago.
I just uninstalled the 32-bit, and am rebooting.
Let’s hope it works!Norman Willis /

April 15, 2009 at 6:12 pmI don’t believe their is a trial of Vegas Pro 8.1. You can use the trial of Vegas Pro 8.0 to see if you like the program. Once you buy it, you can use the 64-bit version which is exactly the same as Vegas Pro 8.0b. (note: Vegas Pro 8.0c is the latest version so 8.0c is actually newer with more functionality than 8.1.)
