    Hello,
I’m new here. I have encountered a strange problem.
I have a video file on my HD with the following properties:
    AUDIO…… MPEG LAYER 3 48000Hz 112 kb/s CBR (2 chnls)
    ViDEO…… 748 kbps XviD 23.976 FPS (AVI)
    Q. FRAME… 0.191 bits*pixel
    RESOLUTiON. 632 x 258
    DAR…….. 2.450 (49:20)
    SiZE……. 701 MB
    SOURCE….. NTSC DVD
When I opened or imported this file in Vegas I got a video and an audio track in the time line. The audio track showed only a flat line though and there was no sound. The video itself was ok. I have loaded all necessary codecs but still no audio. After installing the mp3 codec (just to be shure)there wasn’t even an audio track anymore after opening this video file in Vegas. Tried rendering to PAL (I’m from Belgium) all was ok but still no audio. Sony Vegas works great when I import DV from camera and rendering it to Architect. Can somebody please help with this? I don’t have a clue… Thank’s !!

I’ve found my own solution. Just used the Dvix player to burn.
Finished the job in 15 minutes. I wonder what you should do when you want to do some changes to the movie though…
