  Vegas 8 CDs no longer importing

  I have recently upgraded from XP to Win7, and everything seemed to be working fine. I’ve burned a couple of projects using the Blu Ray burner (from the old computer). But now I’m getting an error every time I try to import a CD track using “Import Media”. It says an interal error has occurred, and that the operation is not supported by this drive.
  Can somebody please suggest what I should check? Thanks.
