When I attempt to render a video mpeg-2 for dvd it crashes at the same spot in one particular file and no other video files I render have issues. This particular file crashes when the rendering hits an image from a digital camera in Jpeg format. I’m running vegas 7.0 in vista. Is this a vista issue? or something else

    Hi Jamie,
Have you tried rendering to an AVI or mp4? It is worth checking to see if you can render with another codec first. What are your project specs? If it is crashing at the same place it could be a corrupted file. Also what is your error message?

How large (in pixels) is the digital still image?
Unless you’re doing a deep zoom, keep it down to no more than 2X project size.
For NTSC, that would be 1440 x 960.
You can also try converting to PNG format.
