Vegas 7 crashes while building a slide show
I am hoping that someone can help with this problem because I haven’t got any help from Sony support.
I am running the latest version on Vegas 7 on 2 computers, a new AMD 4200+ and an older Dell Precision 530.
I have the same problem with both computers. I am trying to build a simple slide show using an MP3 audio file for sound and a bunch of JEPGs for the stills. Whenever I put more than 5 or 6 pics onto the timeline, the program crashes without warning. It simply goes away and I find myself back at the desktop. I can’t find any mention of this on the news groups, so I figured it must be something that I am doing. Is there a size limit for these pics that I might be exceeding?
Any help would certainly be appreciated.Thanks

How BIG are the pictures? Multi-megabytes? If yes, you may want to reduce their size first.
You can also try lowering the RAM Preview setting.
