Vegas 6.0d and high bit rate options for AVI Audio MP3 export?
I just bought Vegas 6.0d (for $99) and I have a question about AVI export audio options. I have not been able to get more than 56 kbps options for audio codecs in MP3 category. I thought that when I buy Vegas the higher options will appear there. HOWEVER, if I choose “Render As…” MP3 Audio, I will see all MP3 options there. I have also Sony Sound Forge 7.0, so I think I should have all MP3 codecs available for use. So far, I have been able to encode to AVIs with high bit-rate MP3 audio using LAME MP3 codec, but it’s a separately downloaded codec, which does not come with Vegas or Sound Forge.
Is it supposed to work this way, or should I be able to see high bit-rate MP3 codecs (64-320 kbps) in the Video for Windows (AVI) Audio MP3 encoding options?
