Are you using the 4.8.1 drivers? They are the ONLY ones that work with Vegas.

    Hi,

Please ensure you are running the DeckLink 4.8.1 driver which is the Vegas 6 Certified Driver Vegas 6 Certified Driver. Vegas 6 was written specifically for use with this version of the driver and I suspect this is the answer to your problem.

I have never had any success with Vegas playing files produced in Combustion with this codec.

    I don’t think it works.

The helpline in Holland for Decklink said that it would only play back files captured from Vegas itself.

Hmm. Didn’t make much sense to me.

If you sort it, please let me know.

It’s a Sony issue – Decklink US asked the Sony developers to add it to the forthcoming version D.

For heaven’s sake, when there is a known issue like this, why would Decklink not put it on a ‘known issues’ list somewhere on the website.

When you spend twenty hours rendering a file, when you have a deadline to meet, when you then find it just won’t work, and subsequently find out that Decklink knew all along it wouldn’t work, it’s just horribly annoying.
