    Hi all,
I have searched the forum for this, but couldn’t find what I was after. So maybe someone can help.

I have some family photo’s I scanned and I would like to get them into Vegas 4 without distorting them. The end result is that I’m creating a family DVD, old film footage and images.

I am using Photoshop CS to try to resize the images into the retangular pixel and resave them for Vegas 4 but it’s not quite working right. I’m cutting all the tops of the Photographs off for verticals or the side for horizontals, some of them are getting too stretched out.
I know I’m doing something wrong but I just can’t figure it out.

Can someone help and tell me the best way to reformat and save my images in Photoshop CS so they look good (and not cut off in vegas 4).

    I’d really appreciate it!
    David

What were the results of letting Vegas reformat them. I have great luck just letting Vegas do its thing. I believe there are also options in the preferences to turn off the resize which should eliminate any reformatting or resizing.

    Hmmm…
I never thought of trying that.

Thanks and I’ll let you know how it works.
