Vegas 18 won’t open .veg after windows update. Please help.
I opened my computer for the first time in a month after a windows update. Now Vegas 18 won’t work right. Would not even open up at first. Then I renamed the error report client and it will open. I opened a few .veg files no problem but then I tried opening one and I get this error.

Ok. I’ve found that Vegas does not want to play my m2ts files recorded from my Sony camera. I’m able to right click on it and add to trimmer isn’t lit up. Trying to drag and drop locks up the program. I’m thinking Microsoft updated a codec or something. Is there a codec for the m2ts files I can try and disable or reload to Vegas?

Ok. In Vegas I changed the compoundplug.dll folder name and the audio came up and would load the .veg file with only audio files. What should I do next? Add a new codec? Which one? How?
