    Hey all,

So, I have no problems rendering footage that’s captured in real-time. The render speed is fine.

However, once I condense a 30 minute clip down to 10 seconds via velocity/playback rate, the rendering speed slows right now, and it renders 1 frame every second or two.
I figure this is due to all the footage being condensed down into the single frame, but rendering a 5-6 minute clip takes 9 hours or so (1080p60).

Is there another way I can edit the video to get the time lapse effect, that will significantly reduce render times?

    Thanks for any suggestions!

You might want to ask this question on https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/vegas-pro-forum/

I thought at one time someone had written a script the would remove a certain number of frames over a period of time and that would allow a time lapse type render. I know I didn’t explain this very well, but inquire as to the existence or availability of a script that would allow the creation of a time lapse. Good luck.
