Vegas 16 pro Bezier Mask with motion track
Hola everyone. I have come unstuck in a personal project.
Basically the issue is that a friend took some video of my band from behind the audience, so we have a lot of heads bobbing about. I would like to remove the audience from the video but not just with a rectangle. I have been trying to use the Bezier mask tool with motion tracking, but it just doesnt work. I have seen it in action before, and the tuts online make it look easy….
The source video is on top and the background upon which I wish to place the masked/tracked result is underneath. The pan/crop mask is on.
Process:
Import tracks
Pull bezier to track
Pick curve in dialogue box and create masked area ensuring mask is fully enclosed
Track
This is where it goes wrong. either the screen is black or the mask appears not to have taken and the source video is fully visable.
Does any one have any idea how i can mask out the complex, tracked shape of the audience please
