  Vegas 13 – 5.1 Audio Cutting In and Out

  So I’m playing around with a 5.1 audio project and for some reason the audio during preview is cutting in and out rhythmically–in, out, in, out almost as if someone was tapping a mute switch on and off. I haven’t had this issue before and I’m using similar files used in previous projects so nothing new that I can determine.

  I’ve tried turning off the “Enable track buffering”, trying different latency settings on my mixing board, etc., and nothing is making a difference.

  I’m running the latest build of 13 on Win 7, 32 GBs of RAM, Intel i7-3960x CPU through a Tascam FW1884 board.

  Any ideas would be appreciated!
