Vegas 12 Build 563 — I’m scared
Hi all — When I opened Vegas, I saw that I could update with this new build. I am scared. Will this “improve” my Vegas performance, or cause a new variety of crashes? Did you already update, without worrying? Your advice appreciated. S

Hey, we’ve gotten an “I’m embarrassed” and an “I’m scared” both in the same day.
I don’t have your answer, but I’m impressed by the vulnerability of this group!

I have been operating with the 563 build for several days and several sessions. With the exception of a thumbnail issue, (i just posted the details) no other hic ups to report.
While I haven’t been through every conceivable render situation, or import situation.. so far so good.
First thing I noticed after installation was “post to YouTube” dialog under the FILE tab. Was that there before upgrade?
Also fixed with the upgrade was the audio volume envelopes that would mysteriously disappear and reappear.
Most importantly, Vegas doesn’t crash when you try to view thumbnails in the media bin. There are still issues with thumbnails, just not fatal issues.
So at this early stage of working with 563, I’m optimistic. I should be a good build, it took them long enough.
