    I am having very slow playback from my timeline, any suggestions?

    Intel Quad Core Q6600 processor (2.40GHz) and 4 GB ram.
    Windows 7, 32 bit and a Radeon 2600 video card.

    The original file is a Quicktime file (1920×1080).

    Try turning off/disabling GPU acceleration and see if that helps.
