    Vegas 10 wont render AVC

    Glad I tested with the free version first

    I have a quad core with a GT220 NVIDIA card with the latest drivers on XP 32

    I can load the avchd files from my camcorder but any attempt to render…even to a standard template fails with an unknown reason even if I select to render with the CPU only

    Vegas 9 works fine.

    I HATE when companies release products that have not been thoroughly tested, the ONLY reason to upgrade to 10 really is the GPU enabled technology (I dont shoot 3d) and it doesnt even work.

    What did you encode the AVC to?

    H.264 sony mp4 16×9 720P NI

    Hi Mike, this isn’t in relation to your error but I am just curious what you mean by (and how you go about) selecting to render from the CPU only.

    its a check box when you render avchd
