Vegas 10 wont load project on new computer
I have a project with nested veg files. Ive installed on a new box and when I load it it just hangs (there is quite a lot of CPU and a little disk but nothing seems to be hapening). It still loades on the old box. Any ideas greatly aprrsiated.

Have you opened each of the nested projects individually and do they load properly? If they need to search for media, I would show them where the new media location is and re-save them. Once they all open individually without errors, you should have more luck with the master project.

Yes, that was my first thought. Maybe I should delete the temp file each nested project creates. Not sure if it is relevant but I have just upgraded from v9 to v10. I opened up all the project files and saved them to convert to v10. The nested project opens in v10 on old install but I do get an error saying some streams may be missing (or words to that effect). Its the new install I am having problems with.

That means that you have missing media in the media pool. I would open all the nested projects and press the lightning bolt in the Project Media to clean out all of the references to files that are no longer used. Then save the project again. That should eliminate those messages.
