I have downloaded both Analog X DX Pad and VAAST Notepad. One is a plug-in audio effect and the other an extension and neither shows up in my Vegas 10. Why not? Please help. Thanks

As always thanks so much to you guys…Johnny In Orlando

Do you realize that there are THREE places in Vegas that extensions can be buried. I have no idea why, but look in Tools, View and Edit menus.

Your Analog-X plugin should be in the audio F/X in the “Third Party” folder.

. . . and DON’T get me started on the illogicality of the Folder hierarchies in the FX-s Organiser! (I must get out more . . . )

I got it. At least the Vaast notepad which will do just fine. As far as DX Pad I’ve put copies in multiple folders to no effect. I’ll move on. thanks, Steve and Grazie!

VASST Notepad should be under View | Extensions. if DX Pad is 32-bit and you’re using Vegas Pro 64-bit it probably won’t show up.
