1. Rendering to Mp4 16×9 format 48k 320
2. Client indicates my audio files are out of sync
3. Not using any audio pluginsWhat’s causing this?

December 8, 2010 at 2:14 pmSource footage is a Panasonic 100B shot at 30P. Captured on a PC, Timeline is 29.97. Could Quantize to Frames Effect Audio sync?

December 8, 2010 at 2:18 pmTry it on a few other computers.
If it plays OK on them, then the problem is on your client’s machine and, without knowing the specs of his computer, troubleshooting is almost impossible. -

December 8, 2010 at 2:31 pmMike, Could Quantize to Frames Effect audio sync? I’m shooting with a Canon DSLR And syncing the H4N audio. I have never had problems with this in Sony Vegas. Just recently purchased the upgrade to version 10.
Thanks,
T

December 8, 2010 at 3:22 pmThomas, it definitely can affect audio sync.
However, if it was accurate in Vegas and in an external player on your computer, then there shouldn’t be a problem.
Do you know what player your client is using?
Have you tried watching it on this player yourself for proper sync?
Can you upload the file somewhere (YouTube or Vimeo) so that we can see and hear for ourselves?
