Hi John! Which Search are you using? When I’ve got AWOL Media Vegas gives me a search option and once I’ve selected at least one of them, the others fall into place. Why does Media go AWOL? The link can break, or deletion or hard drives going bad – yeah, watch out for that one!

This is kinda pointing to a more severe issue than just a few AWOL Media files. You’re still on W7? Hasn’t Microsoft stopped issuing updates esp for security? I’m really concerned about your rig now. This is waaaay above my pay grade.

If you can find them with search, you can compare where Vegas expected to find them and where they are now. Then maybe you can determine who or what might have moved them. After you go through the relinking process, if you don’t save the veg file, you will have to search again next time you open it.
