    Vector Smart Object problem

    I have been given a logo file that i need to break apart in order to be able to animate it – unfortunately, its been made into a vector smart object after all the layers had been merged.

    The problem i am having is that now Photoshop won’t let me do anything to the layer, insisting it gets sent to Illustrator for any editing…but in Illustrator i cant access any of the layers because they no longer exist.

    Is there a way to convert a Vector Smart Object into a bog standard normal layer ? I have searched around for an answer but can only seem to find references saying how wonderful these vector objects are.

    figured it out – Need to use RASTERIZE !
