    if you wanted to use the effect, i believe you’d need to add it to each layer in the pre-comp…

    or, try duplicating the comp, scale the duplicate -100% on the y axis (so the scale would be [100,-100]), then position it so that the top edge meets the bottom edge of the original.

    then you can adjust the opacity. and you can try adding linear wipe to fade the bottom edge out.

    Thanks. I will try the plugin on each layer in the preComp. If not, then maybe the manual method will work.

    Ok, it’s looking good. I applied the VCreflect plugin on each layers in the preComp.

    Now, how do we animate the reflection in the opposite manner on the Y-axis?

    Here’s another: What if I wanted the default detached reflection on a text layer? Well, I kind of got it but things goes wrong when I orbit he camera. I get this weird reflection orientation.

    Any ideas? thanks!
