March 11, 2008 at 3:56 amThere is a “secret” engineering menu which will allow the camera to shoot down to 1fps.
I can’t remember how to do it… perhaps Leo will chime in and reveal the path?

March 19, 2008 at 2:11 amFrom memory it’s holding down the 4 “soft” buttons in the VTR panel whilst holding down the menu button. You may need to do all this whilst turning the camera on too, not sure though, haven’t got my camera in front of me at the moment (waiting for a late plane at LAX).
You need to remember that this will turn off the factory pixel masking software, so you may see some pixels in this mode, don’t despair, when you re-cycle the camera it will revert back to normal. Just use some pixel re-mapping software in post if you use it in this mode.
