    Varicam – dvc prohd 720p advice needed

    I’m about to start a job where the footage is being aquired using Varicam and p2 cameras shooting 720p. The delivery format is 1080i. As the offline is being carried out at DVC pro HD there will be no reconform of rushes – I have a Sony M2000p HDCam Deck. How do I go about up resing the image?

    We might be able to help. At what speed is your Varicam material shot, eg 720p23.98?

    I’m sure I’ll be able to get you an answer for this but not until after the weekend. Do you have an urgent job or can the answer wait a few days? I just need to get some time with one of the engineers to find out the workflow.
