    Hello!

I have a problem when importing vanishing point data in after effects.

After having arranged my grids in Photoshop in the vanishing point editor, I export the .vpe and import it to after effects. Unfortunately, some layers (grids) I had in Photoshop are not imported, I have a picture in PS with 5 grid sides (color blue, well adjusted), but when importing to AE, only 3 layers are shown.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you in advance guys!

    Cheers,

    Roman

    Hi Romain,
Last time I used this feature, the grids in PS had to be based on a single common grid in order to come in. One way to think about it is, each time you start a new grid system, it has to calculate a new camera, and AE will only import a scene with a single camera.

So, if you started a second “grid group”, that’s why they didn’t come in. It can be a real puzzle figuring out how to make a grid system that all grows from a single origin, but that’s part of the fun. 🙂
