  Vanishing & Moving Markers

  I’ve had a strange thing happen a few times, and it just reared its ugly head on a current project.

  After digitizing a full interview, I will then log all of my specific soundbites using markers in the master clip. When I go to edit, suddenly, the markers have moved (ie: when I double click on a maker in the bin it doesn’t take me to the section of the clip I logged) or if I open the clip and shift pont to the next marker it’s not the soundbite that is listed. Also, some markers that show up in the bin no longer connect to any media. This only happens to a few clips out of dozens, so I’m pretty sure I’m doing this right. Has anyone else ever run into this bug? Any ideas how to fix it or keep it from happening again…it wastes ALOT!!! of time having to re-log hours of footage.
