Vanighing Clips
Hi,
I transferred footage of a SD card using Log and Transfer yesterday. I then edited the footage. This morning I turned Mac on and some of the clips have vanished. I have tried reconnect media and using finder to search all drives for the file but it does not exist. These are random clips, i.e. clip 1-5 is there and clip 6 is missing. They all came of the original card and were on the timeline.
I have worked in the software development for over 15 years so know the file has vanished. Any idea what is going on. This is very disturbing as I now have crucial footage that is lost.
Anyone know what is going on. I am afraid I will loose other footage.

Did you transfer the Card files to the computer first? You shouldn’t L&T straight off the card.
