Similar to the problem discussed about V1, I’m having the problem of missing audio on import, but not exactly. The quicktime file was created in fcp 6.0.6. (Apple ProRes422/16bit Integer-Big Endian L/R Stereo) Video imports fine, but the audio at first appeared to be stripped out. What I discovered was that the end of the audio track has slipped to the beginning of the clip. Any help on this is appreciated.

    Hey Gregg,

See David’s post above. Most likely your problem too.

Hi Wick. Actually, I did try his workaround, but I still have the same problem. When I drag the clip from the bin to the program, I see that the audio tracks are cut shorter than the video. In fact, I’d say that the audio tracks are only 25% of the total length of the clip. In addition, the audio has slipped, so that the end of the audio track is at the beginning of the clip.

    Grrrr…

Looks like we’re gonna need a sample file from you also as it seems to be a different problem.

Let me know how you can get it to us. YouSendIt seems to be working out nicely for most people.

Hi Wick. Sorry, I’ve been out of touch until today. I’ll have to post the file to our website, and I’ll email a link to support. It sounds like the same problem that’s listed as a fix in Suite V1.01.

    Thanks!
