  Utrastudio 4k & video game capture

  Hi. I posted something like this last night, but for some reason it didn’t show up on the forum. But anyways I was wondering if someone can help me out.

  I have a Ultrastudio 4k & I want to try & capture video game footage from my Xbox one & Wii U. I haven’t been having much luck getting Media express to pickup any of the consoles. The Ultrastudio 4k can display the game screen on the LCD screen thou. I’ve tried changing the console’s resolution to 720p but media express still doesn’t display anything. HDCP doesn’t seem to be the cause as it doesn’t effect games on Xbox one & Wii U.

  I’m using a 15inch MacBook Pro with thunderbolt 2 (of which the model Ultrastudio 4k is) with all the latest Desktop Video 10.1 drivers. In addition to OSx Mavericks I also have Windows 7 installed on the laptop via bootcamp. Both OS’s have this problem. I’ve tested an old Sony 1080i50 camcorder on this Utrastudio & that device works within Media express.
