Using Zoom H2 and editing footage in premier pro.
Hi
I was wondering is their a benefit of using a Zoom H2 with a Canon 5DMKII in a studio setting? If so, is it easy to sync with the footage?
I am using Premier Pro CS5 and was wondering if it will be to complicated and allot of hastle having audio separate to the footage and synching them up etc for editing.
Your thoughts are much appreciated.

It is not difficult, you can group items together in CS5. In CS5.5, we have a merge clips function which improves on the CS5 workflow. Most people doing a lot of second system sound use Plural Eyes: https://www.singularsoftware.com/pluraleyes.html
