Using YCbCr in Studio2?
Hello, I’m new to the forum.
I’m planning a project where I will be using black and white PAL video and adding colour in the form of Tiffs and colour channels from other video sources. I need to output in 10-bit 4:2:2 SD PAL.
I keep reading that FCP uses a YCbCr colour space, and I’m guessing that with a B/W video the Y channel will be occupied and the Cb Cr channels empty (similar to LAB mode in Photoshop?). How can I view and manipulate these channels in FCPS2? When I go View>Channels I just get RGB or alpha options. Why is this?
Any help greatly appreciated.
