  Using Windows Media 10 Professional for 5.1 Surround Sound

  I have an avi clip on the time line and would like to know why I am unable to use the subject encoder to render out 5.1 audio. I saw a post or two here from a few months back about using Windows Media 9 professional to obtain 5.1 but I only have version 10 professional.

  The error I get is that audio up mixing not allowed.

  Can someone shed some light on this error and why I seem to be unable to use the Windows Media 5.1 encoder?
