What is the best way to manipulate A video in C4D. I have A Tv that I made and I want it to show A quicktime videofile in 3D space …
I have also made some text animations in after effects that i have saved with the alpha that I would like to use in C4D. Any suggestions or Tutorials on this Subject would be so helpful.

    Cheers

The way I do it is to save out the video as an image sequence. Then you create a new material. Assign the first frame as a texture in either the Color or the Luminance channel. You can also use in the Alpha depending on the effect you’re looking for. Click on the animation tab of the channel and click calculate. You won’t see the video update in the preview window but it will on the renders. Here’s a tutorial that explains it much better:

Not too tricky. You just have to put the video file in a material (color or luminance channel). Then click on the movie’s file name in the material, which will bring up some more options in the attributes manager. There’s an “Animation” tab at the top. Click on that, set the relevant parameters, and click the “Calculate” button. That’s it. Note that you won’t see the video moving in the editor window–it only shows up in the final render.
