    Hi,

When loading a video into a material, is there a way to get the video to start at a specific time? For instance, I have a firework video that I want to put onto a plane, but I don’t want the firework to go off right at the start of the sequence but around 128 frames in. Up to now I’ve always just put black video at the beginning for the correct duration, but if there’s a different way then I’d like to learn how to do it as it would yield more control.

    Thanks,

    Simon.

Click on your clip name in the material and that should bring up a new dialogue in the attributes manager. Click on the Animation tab and then select Timing>Range. Now you can set start/end points for the animation.
