using Sony M15u to capture Canon 1080i footage
I anyone using Sony M15u to capture Canon 1080i footage. I have read that capture 24/30f doesn’t work, but I cannot find anyone mentioning 1080i. Is anyone in this forum using this deck for this purpose?

I just got the M15U and am having a lot of trouble capturing Canon XH-A1 and HV20 footage into Premiere Pro CS3 as well as Avid Liquid. The NLE’s can see the deck and control it but cannot capture the video accurately. I am stumpted about using my investment with my Canon cameras.

Are you working with 60i footage or with 24F footage or with 30F footage?
