  • Using Replicator for Glass Shattering Effect

I created a glass shattering effect using the replicator. However, the result wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. The exploding glass acts more like a wipe. How can I tell my video to take on the same attributes of each individual exploding glass particle (ie rotate, scale, etc…)? I’ve used the explode CGM filter before and that’s more or less what I’m after. Once again, all help greatly appreciated.

You will probably have to make a mask & layer for each element of the ‘shatter’
Then when you shatter it will apply the effect in 3d to each layer and move each
    part accordingly.

Not too sure that the replicator is the way to go though, I’d hand draw each element.
