    Vegas 11 Pro

Recently I was developing a video and it kept locking up in the rendering.

I removed a couple of video files I had placed on timeline and it rendered just fine.

I could get the videos to load in the timeline and play in preview. These files I injected onto a track and used track motion. This way I could use them to explain the actor’s topic better.

Finally, I just gave up rendering the final video with the included track motions.

Is there a Sony document or something that explains the requirements for importing or loading of files into the timeline that explains any exceptions or anomalies when using various file types.

In other words, is avi, wmv, mp4, etc. a best file type for loading additional video content into a video I am editing with the Vegas.
