Using Newton 2 to create vibrations based on audio?
Hi there,
Anyone know of a way to use Newton 2 to create an effect of a wire or string vibrating, kind of like a guitar string, based on real audio? I’d actually like to have a few items bounce on the wire, according to the oscillations.
I used the tutorial here to get my wire vibrating:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MVbb2W_rBY
It uses expressions and bezier warp tool on a shape. Thing is, when I open Newton, the vibration animation is not taken into account, so when I have an object fall onto the line, Newton treats the line as static (since the script only kicks in on the main AE timeline). So is there:
A) A way to create physics in Newton based on audio levels, or
B) Is there alternately a way to get Newton to recognize that my shape is being warped on my main timeline, and to have the objects touching it react appropriately?
Thanks!
