Using “Mograph Sound Effector” in combination with the morph tag to lipsync audio
Hi,
I’m looking for a way to use the “Mograph Effector” in combination with the “morph tag” to lipsync audio.
I want make a simple movement of the lips when the audio is active.
It doesn’t need to be an exact lipsync animation because the lips are too far away to see the actual articulation.I’ve set up the “morph tag” with some properties to move the lips.
When I do some testing with the “sound effector” I get the lips to move up and down (together) when the audio is active.
The problem is that the lips don’t open or close. They just move together up and down…Right now I’m looking to use “expresso” to fix this problem, but it seems that this is not quite that simple…
I’ve just seen some of the really good tutorials regarding Mograph on this site. Sadly they don’t treat this one specific problem.
I really like Mylenium’s tutorial (“Part IX – Using the Sound Effector”) where he explains the usage of Expresso in combination with the sound effector. But he doesn’t cover the combination with the Morph tag.I know that there are some (pricy) lipsync tools out there. I’m just wondering if you could use Cinema 4D’s excellent tools to achieve some sort of automisation.
Could someone give me some advise on how to handle the expresso for this specific problem?
I thank you already for looking into this problem.Best regards,
Piet
