  using Mini DV deck

  I have a follow-up question from a post I made below. Matt Short gave me great advice. I was able to digitize off of my mini DV deck using the DV option and firewire. But when trying to output back to the DV deck, I don’t see the VU meters moving. If I have DV selected in my hardware preferences and the right deck selected, shouldn’t the audio meters move when recording? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks
