    Hello

Is it possible to use external audio and images in After Effects?

Just like $.evalFile() to get text from text file.

So before I can use aerender.exe I can just change some paths in an text file and then audio aand images gets imported on the fly.

    Thanks

Check out CompsFromSpreadsheet at aescripts.com. I’ve used it on a couple of projects and it works great. Just be sure the filenames and everything are spelled exactly the same as they are in the spreadsheet or it will give you errors.

Thanks. I have now tried that.

It requires for me to open After Effects and run the script. So I can’t it as automated as I would like.

    Other ideas? 🙂

I guess I don’t understand what you are trying to do. I don’t know much about scripting. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.
