  • Using Ctrl + Mouse drag to speed up video beyond apparent maximum

I’ve sped up some video by holding Ctrl while dragging from the edge of the (group of) events but it only goes so far and I’d like to speed it up further. What is limiting the extent to which I can speed up the video? Is it completely arbitrary? I don’t want to use the velocity envelope because then the video would be out of sync with the audio.

Apologies for not understanding but, by doing the Ctrl+drag method, you’re already messing up the audio so why do you care about using a Velocity envelope too?

When you use increased speed (either Ctrl-dragging and/or velocity envelop) in combination with nested files, there is no limitation…
