  • Using color correction on a muticam edit

    Good morning:
Did a 3 camera shoot using Canon HG20’s.
When I opened the footage in FCP7, one of the angles had a greenish tinge to it. Last minute shoot, didn’t perform due diligence, my bad.
Is there a way, when all three clips are on the timeline, to access the color settings from the good angle(s) [eye dropper, etc] to change the colors of the not-so-good one?
Or should it be done while the clips are in the browser?
    Thanks for your help.
    Michael

Don’t do it in FCP, do it in Color.

Colour correction in FCP stinks, use the still store in Color to match up footage and to save space and time, don’t do it until you’re 100% which shots you’re going to use and your timeline is complete.

    Good luck and happy grading!
