Using Canon DSLR to video record

Hi, I’m having to use a Canon EOS DSLR to video record a 15 – 30 minute video. I’m trying to ascertain the precise camera settings for this shoot. Would anyone who’s shot video with a Canon DSLR pls share the settings they’ve found best? Thank you.
