Hi guys, I am doing a project where I’m making use of a heart rate monitor. I am able to extract the heart rate data (which is recorded once every second such as: 99, 101, 100, 100, 100, 101, 102, 102, 107, 113 etc).

I am wanting to use this data to make an ECG in After Effects. I know how to make an ECG effect from the tutorials here, but I’m not sure how to add or use the data I have in order to make it accurately follow the data.

    Any ideas?

Yes that’s right the monitor records once every second. Sound would be much easier, but it’s only a portable HRM, so it doesn’t output any sound.

How about, instead of an ECG effect, just the numbers going up & down (like a counter). Is that possible without a ton of manual work? The data I have is over 30minutes long, and I don’t fancy having to manually add 1910 individual numbers lol.
