    Hey
I have some footage in one file and a depth map footage in another. Im trying to apply fog uding the depth map information but cant work it out. I seem to need to have the depth info inside a rla / rpf file format. Is there any way I can combine these two files into a rpf or rla file?

    Thanks James

If you have a depth map you can use that as a matte. Use your depth map as a luma matte for a solid, play with the blend mode of the solid and maybe reduce the opacity, lay this over the original footage and you should have something resembling fog. For bonus points apply a Compound Blur to your footage and use the depth map as input (fog diffuses things, a blur is a good estimation of this effect).

Tweak this as you like until you have something you like.
