Using a black and white image as a matte/alpha channel
I also posted this in the motion forums. I’m trying to do this in motion, but if i have to do it in FCP I can do that too. I have a black and white image from an output of a key. How do I apply that another clip as an alpha for it to use? i.e. I want the white part of the image to be solid and the black part to be transparent in my second clip. Thanks.

Cool got it to work in motion, it’s the same thing but tracks are reversed and you have to put the group composite mode to normal instead of pass through. Thanks for your help.
