    Hello everyone.

My objective here is to make a looping GIF of ocean waves. I’ve never done this before so here is how I am trying to accomplish it:

I want to make a looping noise animation in After Effects (which I can do), then I want to use that animation in C4D for the ocean’s pattern, that way I can create the looping Gif of waves. Is it possible and how could I go about doing this in C4D? Is this a logical approach?

Or, if you have a better/easy approach I would love to hear your ideas. Thank you much!

An imported loop will be pixels which means it has to be fine enough detail (close enough to the waves) and you’ll be able to see the squares. So be sure to have a big enough resolution. However, remember that C4D has a number of noises that can be looped then you don’t have to worry about resolution
